Nightwish

Man, that was awesome. Nightwish rock so hard it is unbelievable. The support act, Pain, also rocked. Best support act ever. !’m not sure how to describe their sound, its metal with a synth background. Eddie described them as chiptunes metal. Either way they rock.

I managed to make a recording of the gig but have been having trouble converting them to mp3 (damn you Audacity).

My friend Katie got some pics of the gig as well.

The gig was not without its flaws however. There were a few moshpits that broke out which somewhat annoyyed me but they did clear the floor when they broke up. Emmpu (guitarist) seemed to be lacking during soloage. He did have a good amount of heavy riffage but the soloing could have been louder. I also couldn’t understand Marco (bassist) due to his accent but it was amusing when he brought out a bottle of vodka.

Was a really good gig though, I want to go see them again.
