MSN fails

I have been having so many problems with MSN lately: timeouts, switchboard errors and random connection errors. I think I’m gonna make the jump to some non-proprietary protocol, IRC seems like a good bet. Unfortunately, most of my friends use the MSN network which will make comms a bit more difficult. The bulk of them have my phone number anyway and I’m pretty easy to find, provided I’m not away vagabonding. The rest of them already are on IRC so there is no difficulty there.

Speaking of IRC (I have no subtlty skills), there is now an official R4nger5 channel on FreeNode. Just connect to irc.freenode.net and join #r4nger5 and join in the randomness.
