I have decided to remove the gallery software that I have. Flickr has a much better interface and is lower maintenence. All my photos are uploaded to my Flickr account.

Mmmm I wasn’t happy with gallery2 when I tried it either. Was difficult to get it to integrate fully into my website- it just looked out of place.

If you really wanted to, you could integrate flickr into wordpress (think you might have done that at one point before though?)

I did have a plugin that was supposed to show my recent Flickr photos but it never worked…

I mainly use the “post to weblog” feature to post photos on my site.

I can’t even be bothered with that. I just upload the image to the server then link to it.

Should have some pics up tonight- was drawing in the sand on the beach this afternoon :P

I like the social aspect to Flickr, it’s like a centralised place for folk to talk about photography. It is the one social network where the main focus is not “look at me i’m speshul!!!!” with garish colours and stupid addons that do nothing except waste bandwidth.
